The Graspic DS3 From Dunlop - An Excellent Studless Snow Tire for Your Sedan Or Minivan

!±8± The Graspic DS3 From Dunlop - An Excellent Studless Snow Tire for Your Sedan Or Minivan

The Dunlop Graspic DS3 is an excellent quality studless snow tire for your sedan or minivan with lots of winter snow traction and safety features to keep you and your family secure. If you currently have all-season tires and anticipate more than an inch of snow in your area this winter, you want to seriously consider buying tires specifically designed for snow and ice. The increase in traction and safety is huge!

The Graspic DS3 has been around for about a year. Drivers with many different cars have given this studless winter tire strong reviews for traction, braking, stability, and noise on snow, slush, and muddy/wet conditions. Since the DS3 has been out for awhile you are now able to get some very good low priced deals on this tire.

An example of what this studless tire can do is described here: "The difference between the Graspic DS3 and the all-season tires I had on my car before is dramatic! Traction on ice is very good and snow grip is outstanding. On the freeway I was traveling almost 80 mph and drove over hard ice and snow suddenly.
The Graspic DS2 handled it without a hitch. These tires are worth your money -- I would have crashed without them."

You should take care when buying the any snow tire that you don't leave them on your car after the snowy winter months are over. Once the temperature gets above 40 degrees and the roads dry out, your snow tires will wear out quickly and give you poor dry weather performance. This is because studless snow tires have soft compounds and an open tread which rolls over instead of gripping tightly to dry road. Like all snow tires, the tread blocks tend to bend rather than stick to dry asphalt. As long as there is some snow or slush on the road, they are OK. Even if it's raining or sleeting and it's cold. Otherwise, make sure you switch back to your dry weather tires. It helps to have your snow tires mounted on their own set of rims so you don't have to re-mount them again.

For those of us who need a set of snow tires for only a few months a year and don't want every high performance feature available on pricier tires, a good choice is the Dunlop Graspic DS3.
